Christmas Gifts

I know, I know it's been awhile since I wrote a post.  It was a busy rest of November and December.  I found out I early December that I would be able to take off and go home for Christmas so that was a wonderful unexpected surprise.  So December flew by and here it is, January!

I got some wonderful nail gifts from my boyfriend.  He was asking what kind of stuff I was looking for and I said I needed the perfect red and did he come through or what, he got me China Glaze Salsa!  He also bought me Seche Vite top coat, which surprisingly I have never used, but now LOVE!  I also got a set of 4 nail brushes that I am loving (pictures to come)

and a stripe rite in Blue, needless to say he did well!

I took some not so great pictures above to show my little gifts - it's night, what do you expect!

Oh and I also got the Mama Mia DVD, Loved it!

Christmas is in the Air!

Gorgeous! China Glaze Emerald Sparkle -and it is GORG! You don't really need to coats if apply one thick coat - say you needed a quick manicure.

I got this at Sally Beauty supply - if you have a sally beauty card, China Glaze polishes are $3.25! How awesome, and they have a special - buy two china glazes and get one free, so I got three for $7 and some change. I was happy needless to say!

I am half done with my Christmas shopping, how about you?

China Glaze - Rose Among Thorns

This is a beyond gorgeous color in person - I tried to take many pictures but it didn't come across the way it really looks, it is a pretty rose/fuschia color. LOVE IT!

So Sorry

I don't know how many people even read this blog, but if you do and noticed I've been gone for awhile, I'm sorry. I have been. Early in the month we traveled to NC and then last week my family came to visit and then I thought I was catching a cold so I've been in bed the past few days. I haven't had time to buy or swatch much polish but here are two pretty colors I got on sale at Sally Beauty since its been awhile since I've got to buy online.

Finger Paints Plum Crazy

I liked the Plum color, it's dark but noticably NOT black!

And Finger Paints Fool's Gold

Very pretty color that I have only swatched and not been able to wear yet. Last week I went a whole week with just clear polish. I'm letting my nails grow, I'm going to see how it feels to have them a Little bit longer.

Can't wait for the week and Halloween!

Gussied Up Green

So I went and got another polish - I decided to go ahead and get China Glaze Gussied up Green. Now you can't really see in the photos but its actually dark green/dark blue duo but really it mostly showed up green on the nails. Still loved it.

Not ready for the week, I'm waiting for certain news. Keeping the ol fingers crossed.

I just LOVE this color

Okay so I love this color. I'm not quite sure how it will translate into the picture, but when I put this on last night I fell in love. I'm not one for metallics or shimmers and I can't quite decide which it falls into but it's gorg! It's Salon Pro Peacock Blue and I got it at Sally's for 1.99 on sale. LOVE IT.

An old man told me today that he liked my nail polish color and that he had a truck this color once. LOL. I love compliments like that, makes me smile.

Oh and I have the best family ever!
